These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shrinkhala mobile application and the shrinkhala.org website (together, the "Service"), operated by Doctors For You (DFY). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You may add profiles for family members you are authorized to manage health information for. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
2. The Service We Provide
Shrinkhala helps you store medical reports and prescriptions, set medicine reminders, log home blood pressure and blood glucose readings, and view AI-generated health trends and risk insights. The Service is informational and organizational in nature — see our Medical Disclaimer for what it does not do.
3. Acceptable Use
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only to manage your own or your authorized family members' health information.
- Do not upload content that is not yours to share, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Do not attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
- Do not use the Service to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the reports, prescriptions, photos, and other information you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading it, you grant DFY a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including sending relevant images/text to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete Your Content within the app at any time.
5. AI-Generated Results
Text extracted from photos, medicine details, risk scores, correlations, and trends are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying this information, and it is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy. See our Medical Disclaimer for full details.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service uses OpenAI's API to analyze photos and text you upload. Your use of the Service is also subject to the practices described in our Privacy Policy regarding this and any other third-party processing.
7. Intellectual Property
The Shrinkhala name, app, and website design are the property of Doctors For You. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service or its content except as permitted by these Terms.
8. Service Availability & Changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time, including features currently marked "Coming Soon."
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doctors For You and its partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any health decision made based on information shown in the app. The Service is provided free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
